Tonight in "Lies, Myths and Downright Stupidity," John Stossel uncovers some popular myths. Among them is the myth number 4: "Chemicals are killing us." Stossels shows that it's the fear of chemicals -- such as the pesticide DDT -- that is killing millions of people around the world.

About SupportJohnStossel.org
Over the years, ABC newsman John Stossel has raised the dander of many with his unique ability to debunk conventional wisdom and expose special interests, politicians, and politically correct causes. As a reporter for the program 20/20, Stossel has on occasion gone after some hot environmental causes. These programs raise the ire of environmental activists, who respond with campaigns to get Stossel off the air.
We designed this site in response to one of the environmentalists' efforts to get Stossel fired in August 2000. The site provided information on the issue and how to express support for Stossel to ABC. Stossel and his fans won that round as ABC stood by its star reporter, but activists continue their attacks. This site now serves as a forum for information sharing and to express support for Stossel to counter ongoing environmentalist efforts to silence him.
